NFL Week 4 Predictions!!

Week 4 of the NFL!

Ok, I was wrong about The Rams, but right about The Niners winning the game. I gotta say, I thought The Rams were gonna be at least decent this year. They have the talent and an ok defense, but they're still The Rams. I wanna give Bradford the benefit of the doubt here, but I'm starting to lose faith in him myself. Niners dominated them 35-11. Looking back on what they used to be, The Rams are sad.

Time to get into Week 4 with my picks! Got some very interesting games on the schedule.

Baltimore @ Buffalo

- The Ravens have struggled to consistently score points and produce in the passing game. Last week, they had a spark putting up 30 against The Texans. The Ravens sorely miss the presence of Jacoby Jones. Flacco pretty much just throws in the direction of Torrey Smith as his other receivers aren't a sure thing. I see them trying to get Dallas Clark more involved. Clark has a habit of dropping passes, but I believe he should be involved a little more to provide some stability to that passing game. The Bills looked good in their showing against The Jets. E.J. Manuel is solid young QB, but their team is a liability defensively. Playing in Buffalo will be a challenge because that crowd can get rowdy. I fully believe The Ravens will go into Buffalo and get the job done. Won't be surprised if the Bills don't go down without a fight.

Prediction: Ravens defeat Bills

Cincy @ Cleveland

UPSET ALERT!

- This game is gonna be a lot closer than people think. Cleveland actually beat Cincy by 10 in Cleveland last season. The Brows always play their divisional foes tough and this in-state rivalry is always fun to watch. At Home, Cleveland's defense gets a much needed boost and plays well. Their pass rush and ability in the secondary can be underrated at times. Nothing special, but a bend, don't break type of defense. The Browns have found bonafide weapons in Bess, Little, and Jordan Cameron. Cameron is gonna be huge for them in this game. Hoyer is gonna throw a lot of passes his way. Cameron might be a difficult match up, even for Cincy's great defensive players.

We already know how good the Bengals defense is. Hoyer is gonna struggle early on trying to pass on this team, or even get the pass off because of Cincy's Front 7, but it's all about adjustments. I think The Browns, coming off a last second win in Minnesota, are feeling good right now and are ready to take that next step with Hoyer. I'm not saying they'll win the division or anything, but I'll take them to win this game over Cincy. Dalton will get his points throwing to his weapons like Sanu and of course AJ, but in Cleveland, I think this one goes to The Browns. That's my upset pick of the week. If I'm wrong, I'm wrong. The Bengals will definitely get theirs back in Cincinnati.

Prediction: Browns defeat Bengals

Chicago @ Detroit

- Another interesting one. The Bears are 3 years removed from being in the NFC Championship and finishing off Jay Cutler's nice reign as the Bears QB. They haven't even been back in the playoffs since. Now, here they sit at 3-0, heading to 2-1 Detroit, a team that also wants to get back to the playoffs. Most of the Lions receivers are injured. Stafford's primary weapons will be Megatron and Ryan Broyles, who had a good showing last week. I think The Lions will be able to adjust and produce points in the passing game. Cutler has shown that he can produce points and effectively throw the ball down field if he has time in the pocket. I think this game will come down to the battle of turnover. Which team can cause that fumble, or make that interception to put the other team away. The Bears scored 23 points off turnovers against Pittsburgh. I want to give this game to Detroit because they're at home, but I don't believe they can get it done. Chicago has just a better team, and their defense will be the key to this one. If they can stop Megatron, which is HARD to do, they've got this one. I have Chicago going 4-0.

Prediction: Bears defeat Lions

Seattle @ Houston

- Seattle is DOMINANT at Home, but this a true test to see if they can play the same on the road. We've got two hard hitting teams that like to force turnovers, really bring the pressure and close some gaps to bottle up the running game. Matt Schaub will have a hard time against this #1 ranked Seattle defense. They can really rush the passer and their hard hitting secondary is so lethal. The Houston secondary on the other hand is also pretty good. Wilson will get his. He's got the receivers to do so. This is the same Houston team that let Christian Ponder and AP torch them last season. I predict Wilson be rattled at first, but once he adjust to their defense, he'll get his. He can also hand it off to Lynch and let him do this thing if anything. Houston is good home team, but I like the Seahawks in this game.

Prediction: Seahawks defeat Texans

Indy @ JAX

- The Colts just came off a dominating win on the road against a formidable opponent, The San Francisco 49ers, blowing them out 27-7. They're looking good and Andrew Luck is showing no signs of a sophomore slump. The Jaguars maybe one of the worst teams, but they do play Divisional foes tough. But it's always a safe bet to take the team playing against Jacksonville. The Colts win this one and move to 3-1. I'm really intrigued to see Indy play Houston in Week 9 to really test how far they've come. They need this win because they're next three games are a doozie: Hosting Seattle, on the road against San Diego, and then the BIG one, Week 7 hosting Peyton Manning and The Denver Broncos. A win here could prepare them for the tough stretch and at least keep their record strong.

Prediction: Colts defeat Jaguars

NYG @ KC

-  The Giants have been playing badly. No better way to put it than that. Eli already leads the league in turnovers, and their defensive gives up a ton of points. This resulted in them being 0-3. And now they go to 3-0 Kansas City. The reason I don't fully believe in The Chiefs is because Alex Smith doesn't take a lot of chances. Alex Smith is Mr. Checkdown. He throws those slants, bootlegs, and intermediate passes, he never attempts any passes down the field even though he has a receiver like Dwayne Bowe on his team. He took some chances with The Niners, but not so much with KC. What if The Giants take away those short passes? Smith will have to throw down the field and sometimes he can do it effectively, and sometimes he can't. If Smith just throws 5 yard pass after 5 yard pass and moves down the field, Giants won't be able to win because Smith is efficient in this kind of offense. This is why it works for him.

It's hard to choose, but if The Giants can't beat a team like Carolina, who probably isn't going anywhere this season, how can they beat a team that's tactical offensively and aggressive defensively like The Chiefs? I'm gonna make a bold prediction and pick The Giants. The Chiefs are a good team, but The Giants are gonna want this game a little more and play with some fire. At least, I think they will. They very well could lay an egg like last week. But I can't see them starting off 0-4. I'll take The G-Men in a close one.

Prediction: Giants defeat Chiefs

Pittsburgh @ Minnesota

- Oh yes, The London Game. Two teams that haven't played up to their expectations. The Vikings offense runs through Adrian Peterson which makes them one-dimensional because The Vikings passing game isn't as good as it was last season with Percy Harvin opening up more opportunities. The Steelers, on the other hand, haven't looked at least decent. They've had poor showings in all their games so far. You could say Ben has no weapons, or because his lost his Center, he doesn't get the protection he needs. This is a weird game, there's no clear cut one-sided winner in this one. Vikings have an Ace with A.P. but Pittsburgh won't start off the season 0-4. I'll take The Steelers. Ben finds some rhythm in the passing game and he makes enough plays to lead his team to the W.

Prediction: Steelers defeat Vikings

Arizona @ Tampa Bay

- Poor Josh Freeman. Getting benched and a rookie starting over him. I don't really watch College Football anymore so I can't comment on whether or not this kid is good. He'll have his hands full. Arizona definitely has a solid defense and rattle the young guy. The battle between Fitz and Revis will interesting to watch. The kid's got some weapons in Vincent Jackson and Mike Williams, but how will he fare against this Arizona defense? I think it'll be a rough outing for this young guy and Carson Palmer's team gets the win. The Cardinals are just a better Football team than Tampa Bay. The struggles will continue for The Bucs.

Prediction: Cardinals defeat Buccaneers

NYJ @ Tennessee

- This is gonna be an interesting one. Both teams are 2-1, both young QB's have been playing well so far this season. The Jets have played well against the run, but they haven't faced a running back like Chris Johnson yet. I believe they'll limit his runs and the game will be in Locker's hands. Locker's receiving core has been inconsistent. Kenny Britt hasn't played like Kenny Britt we've seen in the past, but Nate Washington has come on as a go to guy. Either him, or Kendall Wright. Locker is a young stud of a QB and definitely opened some eyes leading the offense in that comeback win against San Diego. I think Geno has found another weapon besides Holmes, in Hill.

I see a nice defensive struggle in the early going as it should be. The Titans defense do a great job of rushing the passer and disrupting the QB's rhythm. If The Jets offensive line can give Geno some time, he can expose The Titans soft spot in the defense and make some plays over the middle and produce some points. Can Locker put up points against this team? He'll struggle to put up points because of his inconsistent receivers, but if he can get into a rhythm and make some plays down the field and his guys show up, they can pull this one out.

Both defenses will be the key in this game. When you have two young QB's, it's all about who makes the first mistake and who makes that one big play. I like the way Geno's been playing, his poise in the pocket, and his arm. I like Locker's ability and efficiency. This is gonna be a good one. But in Tennessee, I gotta give the edge to The Titans.

Prediction: Titans defeat Jets

Philly @ Denver

- Philadelphia is an inconsistent team that can't play defense. Their offense is fast, they've got a great running attack with Lesean McCoy, and can move down the field. But again, they can't play defense. The Broncos pass rush can also be inconsistent, so Vick may find some lanes to run in and make some plays in the passing game. Denver, on the other hand, looks like they're gonna go Undefeated. They are an offensive juggernaut with Peyton Manning at the helm and that defense is lethal now and they're still missing some pieces. Imagine how dangerous they'll be once everybody's back and healthy. In Denver, Peyton will have his way with this defense. Sure Philly will make some plays and get off the field and rattle Manning in a little, but once all is said and done, it'll come down to whether or not The Eagles defense can stop Peyton Manning. Something no team has been able to do yet. I got Denver going 4-0. Too much offense, too much Manning, and don't underestimate that defense. It's Philly's #1 rushing offense vs Denver's #1 rushing defense. Something's gotta give here.

Prediction: Broncos defeat Eagles

Washington @ Oakland

- Both these teams have looked bad so far this season. I think it's worse for Washington because their expectations were so high coming off last season's success. But look at them. RG3 looks like he's scared to run and scared to re-injure that leg again and without his running, he can't properly succeed in the passing game like he did last season. Then, right across the field, you have a guy in Terrelle Pryor who's proven to be a QB that can maybe lead Oakland into the future if he becomes more polished and the front office makes the right moves. I'm gonna go ahead and take Washington to finally get a win and beat The Raiders.

Prediction: Washington defeats Oaklan

Dallas @ San Diego

- I remember years ago, people were picking these teams to compete in The Super Bowl. They always fall just short of their expectations. With Washington, Philly, and New York reeling, the Cowboys have a chance to put a little strangehold on this division. Tony Romo is playing well like he has been every year. I don't know why people underestimate this guy. His playmaking ability is up there and he can throw the ball down the field. It also helps that he's got Dez Bryant and Demarco Murray on his side to help balance out the offense. The Chargers are all sorts of messed up. They have such a choke factor. Houston, then Tennessee. San Diego is a good team that just can't seem to close out games when it counts.

Philip Rivers is also a decent playmaker when he has to. He's got his money receivers and a decent runner in the backfield. This will be a battle of the QB's. Romo vs Rivers. I have faith that Romo will make and extend plays and produce points on this defense. The Chargers are just a weird team whose inconsistency is why I can't really take them seriously going forward. The Cowboys are smelling blood in the NFC East and want to gain a little breathing room. Even on the road in San Diego, I got those Cowboys.

Prediction: Cowboys defeat Chargers

New England @ Atlanta

- Brady is still without Gronk and still without Amendola. But he looks he found a little chemistry with his rookie receivers, Dobson and Thompkins. But he still has Julian Edleman out there making plays as well. But The Patriots are still lucky to be 3-0. They should be 1-2. They narrowly escaped Buffalo, winning on a last second FG and The Jets were one big play away from beating them in Foxboro. They're going on the road against an offensively disciplined team like The Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons haven't looked like The Falcons of last season, but they're still a good Football team.

Let's be real, The Patriots haven't faced an offense like Atlanta yet. Julio Jones is still a beast on the outside and they have a dangerous tandem set in the backfield with Snelling and Rodgers. Playing Atlanta is one thing, but playing them on their home turf, a place where they almost never lose is something else. The Falcons defense will play them tight, give their receivers no space, jam them at the line and throw off Brady's composure. I don't think the Patriots can consistently move the ball on this offense, but Matt Ryan can surely move the ball on their defense. I'll take The Falcons to get the W. Don't be surprised if it's an easy W as well.

Prediction: Falcons defeat Patriots

3-0 Miami @ 3-0 New Orleans

- This one right here. Undefeated Miami vs Undefeated New Orleans. I gotta admit, I was surprised The Dolphins were able to beat Atlanta. The Dolphins are really playing some good Football. Their offense can really move the ball man. Ryan Tannehill has emerged as a stud, with poise in the pocket, and making plays. He's got Wallace/Hartline duo to thank as well. They don't open eyes with the running game, but they're efficient when they run the ball. Lamar Miller will see a lot of time if Tannehill can't get it going early. Watch their defense too. Cameron Wake and the pass rush love to swarm the QB and disrupt the momentum.

With Sean Payton back and running things, The Saints are once again offensively disciplined and their defense is playing well so far. We already know that with Drew Brees at the helm, The Saints will score points. That's a foregone conclusion. Their offense is hard to stop and Brees has got so many weapons to throw to and they've got a three headed running attack. Their defense is ranked #4 right now. Their pass rush is a tad shaky, but still effective and their secondary has improved.

I think Miami is for real. If they pull this off, then I fully believe they can take the division as well. Bold prediction, I know. But playing New Orleans in the Super Dome on Monday Night Football is quite a feat. I like the way The Dolphins are playing right now. They'll be a hard team to stop going forward, but in THIS game, I gotta give it to The Saints. I don't know if Miami can make enough plays to contend with New Orleans at Home in this one. It'll be a close one, but with Drew Brees at Home, it's hard to pick against them. The party has to end for one of them.

Prediction: Saints defeat Dolphins

Got a lot of good games this week. Gonna be interested to see the outcome of some of them, especially that Monday Nighter in New Orleans.

Enjoy the games!

What Happened To Dolph Ziggler's Push?

You remember the guy above? Dolph Ziggler? The guy who was on the midst of breaking out in the WWE. The guy who got one of the loudest pops I've ever heard when he won The World Title the night after WrestleMania. What happened to him?

Well, in cased you missed it...

Ziggler won the World Title the night after WrestleMania and got a HUGE pop!

A week into his title reign, he had a match on SmackDown where Jack Swagger's dumb ass botched a move and injured Ziggler. Because of this, he had to drop the belt and leave to heal up. Once he came back, Del Rio was The World Champion and slowly Ziggler fizzled out of the World Title picture. He's jobbing now and his push has been halted, or stopped, in my opinion. He jobbed to The Wyatt Family, jobbing to The Shield. The guy hasn't even had any air time to cut promos anymore. He's become nothing more than an afterthought now after being one of the hottest acts WWE had.

From what I've heard, the "Powers That Be" think that Dolph Ziggler can't draw, or put asses in the seats. Um...?

Dolph Ziggler had the World Title for ONE WEEK. We never had a chance to see what he could do with the belt until he got injured.

So, let me understand. The fans love Dolph Ziggler. Guys like me love seeing him wrestle, sell moves, take bumps, he's good on the mic, and we could argue that he puts asses in the seats as well. The man had everything to be the future of the company and they don't believe he can draw.

And yet, you have a guy like Alberto Del Rio. He's been a 2-time WWE Champion, 4 Time World Heavyweight Champion, Money in the Bank AND Royal Rumble Winner. He's gotten every chance to get over, and he STILL CAN'T. Even when he was a face, his reactions weren't that big. Ricardo Rodriguez gets more of a reaction than him. Del Rio gets almost little to no reaction when he comes out. And yet WWE still wants to keep the World Title on him. Why? Because they're trying to build up another Latino star cause they don't have one right now. Rey is on and off, Sin Cara has proven to be  a bust in my opinion, and they have nobody else. Basically, they're trying to make the next Eddie Guerrero.

I'll say this, Del Rio is NO Eddie Guerrero. I'll get that out of the way right now. He can never be the superstar Eddie was. Secondly, they don't need to keep the belt on him to make the Latino star that they want. Del Rio is a good in-ring worker, (in my opinion, he could be a lot better) but he can't draw, or put asses in the seats. Yet, they keep the belt on him rather than a guy that people will ACTUALLY pay money to see in Dolph Ziggler.

This is the sort of thing I mean. How will we know if Ziggler could be "The Man" if he never gets the chance?

Look at The Miz in 2010. People thought his title run would fail, but it was damn good. Miz made that WWE Title look better than it had been in previous years. He was a great Heel Champion. WWE let him run with the ball and he was getting interviews, appearing on Talk Shows, doing all the things your WWE Champion should do. He even beat their Golden Boy, John Cena, in the Main Event at WrestleMania. If WWE had taken the belt off Miz the week after he won the title, we wouldn't have seen how effective his heel run as Champion would have been.

In Ziggler's defense, he was injured 1 week into his title reign, so we never had a chance to see how he would be booked with that title. You could also argue that when Ziggler was injured, he was ripping into the WWE via Twitter during RAW, and maybe that upset the officials. Whatever.

I think it's BS that Ziggler is getting the short end of the stick here. And you have a guy like Del Rio getting the push that anybody else could be getting.

Who knows when Ziggler will be back to the status he was around WrestleMania Season. WWE has butchered Ziggler so badly, I don't think he ever will.

Let me know what you think.

TNF: Rams vs 49ers

We've got an interesting one here for Thursday Night Football. The St. Louis Rams host The San Francisco 49ers. Expecting a lot of defense in this game.

I was horribly wrong about both of these teams last week. Well, St. Louis at least. There was always a chance that Indy could win, but I thought the Rams would give Dallas a run for their money. Instead, Dallas blew them out of the water.

The thing is these teams know each other very well. Interested in seeing games within this division. So far the Rams and Seahawks are 1-0 in their division. Last season, both games went to OT. They tied the first time and St. Louis won in OT the second time around. The Rams are a weird team. They'll have a good game against Arizona, but stink it up in Atlanta & Dallas. Leads me to believe they can only win games against division foes. It also leads me to believe they can only play well at Home.

Getting to the game, I've mentioned the Rams Pass Rush and how good it is. That may not have been the case against The Cowboys, they're better than people give them credit for. Bradford is working with some young talent, and their offense is weird sometimes. Austin needs to be a lot more involved in the offense. He's definitely their big play guy. They've got to open up their offense more and make some big plays down the field. St. Louis also needs to show up the run defense. Demarco ran all over them again. The running game also opened up the passing game let Romo throw 3 TD's on them. We saw last week that even Indy's pass rush got the better of Kaepernick on more than one occasion.

The Niners, coming off a blowout loss against Indy are looking to get another win. Kaepernick struggled against this team last season, and even though he's got a new weapon on Boldin, The Rams defense will be on him, especially playing with such energy at home. Kaepernick needs to make smart decisions and run the ball more to open the passing game. Last week, The Colts defense made the right adjustments and The Niners only scored 7 points. Kaeprnick isn't strong against a decent pass rush. He'll make the wrong decisions and he'll look just lost. It could be The Super Bowl curse. You never know.

Tough to call this one. It's really hard to see a team like The Niners losing three games in a row and dropping to 1-3. But The Rams always play them tough and they love playing at home. Tough one to call. I think San Fran is a better team than St. Louis, but the Rams definitely have a shot at beating them. I'm gonna say The Niners finally get a win in OT, 23-20 winners in St. Louis. Wouldn't be surprised in the least if St. Louis pulled the upset.

Why John Cena is the Face of the WWE

Ok, I've been wanting to talk about this for a LONG time, but I needed to do my homework and really look up a lot of stuff before I came on here and talked about this.

Judging by the picture, you know who I'm talking about: The current face of the WWE, John Cena.

Fair warning, this will be a LONG post, so be prepared. Have some snacks or something ready.

Ok, before I start, let me be very clear about something. I don't hate John Cena the person. For all I know, he's a great guy. Off camera, he looks like someone you can chill out and have a beer with. I'm not one of those guy who ALWAYS hated Cena. I liked the old Cena, but I'll get into that later.  I absolutely detest the current John Cena. Why? I'll explain in detail.

1. He's not a great in-ring worker.

- Cena is not as good as people make him out to be. Back in 2004-2005 when Cena was smaller, he could move around quicker and put on decent matches. Now, he's bigger, a lot bulkier and you could argue that he's sloppy in the ring, botches alot, can't take bumps well, can't sell moves, awkwardly executes moves, and constantly needs to get carried by better wrestlers that make him look passable, i.e. Punk, Bryan, HHH, HBK, Edge, etc.

I also hate that these "sheep" say that Cena's match with Punk was the best main event in RAW History? Are you kidding? Constant nearfalls do not make a great match. You want great RAW Main Events? Here's a list:

The Undertaker vs Jeff Hardy: Ladder Match for the WWE Championship in 2003.

Razor Ramon vs 1-2-3 Kid. RAW 1993.

Triple H & Stone Cold vs Benoit & Jericho for the WWF Tag Team Championship. May 2001.

10 Man Tag Team Match: The Rock, Cactus Jack, Too Cool & Rikishi vs Triple H, X-Pac, Benoit, Malenko & Saturn. May 2000.

Some of you really need to wake up and smell the coffee on this topic.

2. He can't cut good promos.

- I hate when people say Cena is "great" on the mic. Back in the Attitude Era, Golden Era, hell even the Ruthless Aggression Era superstars were allowed to improv more. This is what people don't understand. In those days, wrestlers could go out there and improv as long as they followed bullet points. It was natural and it all flowed. This is why NOBODY in this current era can match wits on the mic with anybody from other eras. They would have to break character to keep up with them. Like Punk and Cena did with The Rock. It's not hard to attack somebody when you break character. Cutting promos IN CHARACTER showed how truly good you were.

Don't believe me? They had to tone down The Rock so they could build up Cena. They had to have Rock write on his wrist so Cena could have some ammo to attack with him. Rock memorizes movie lines for a living. You really think he has to write a promo on his wrist? The Rock is Mr. Improv. Give him a mic and it's magic. I still find it funny how people say Cena owned The Rock. If you REALLY THINK that THIS John Cena would own Prime Attitude Era Rock, then you're delusional. Usually I say, in my opinion, but this is just a fact.

Need more proof? Check out the video below. You'll see how inferior CM Punk looked next to Stone Cold.

Back on topic, Cena's promos sound dull, he sounds robotic, he doesn't sell what his opponent says, sounds like he literally read his promo before he walked out, he's not funny, and he goes off tangents. When somebody cuts a promo on him, he mentions the Make-A-Wish kids. What does that have to do with a wrestling match for the WWE Championship? If Cena's character was attacked in a promo, then that's a different story. But he mentions that constantly. We KNOW you do this, you don't need to mention it in EVERY promo to remind people you're a good guy. WE GET IT. He constantly has to mention that he busts his ass night in, night out like he's the ONLY person who does it. Everybody travels, everybody goes overseas too.

It's ok to tell a story on the mic, but you have to bring it back to the match. Cena doesn't do that. He'll go off topic and stay off topic.

You wanna know how bad John Cena is? Check it out.

3. He lacks seriousness.

- When you're in the ring and you're selling a match for a ppv and you're in a mic exchange with somebody, you have to sell the opponent. When somebody is in your face and says, "I'm gonna whip your ass and take your title" you don't stand there with this goofy smile on your face, you stare him down with a serious face and give him your undivided attention and let him know you're listening to every word he's saying. If you smile and laugh, you're not taking the promo, the match, or your opponent seriously. Cena use to take things seriously back in the day, nowadays, he just smiles and doesn't sell his opponent in the ring and it infuriates me.

Have you seen when Cena tries to get serious now? It's fake and forced. Looks horrible.

You wanna talk about not selling your opponent? Go back to John Cena vs Brock Lesnar at Extreme Rules last year. Brock Lesnar beat him and bloodied him for around 20-25 minutes and what happens? Cena literally wins with TWO moves and then he cuts a promo? HUH?!?! If I got beatdown for 30 minutes or something at the hands of a former UFC Heavyweight Champion, with blood covering my face, I certainly wouldn't be on my feet 2 minutes afterwards talking normally. I would need to be carried out on a stretcher. That had to be one of the most disgraceful things I've ever seen. No wonder why Brock was pissed backstage afterwards.

4. HE MAIN EVENTS EVERY SINGLE PAY-PER-VIEW.

- This is a major one for me. There is such a thing as over-saturation. John Cena is a major reason why WWE is failing. He's in EVERY SINGLE MAIN EVENT and WINS. It gets to a point that that you know what will happen. Cena always wins, so why waste your time watching? The unpredictability factor is out the window because you know in the end, Cena always wins.

Did Stone Cold main event and win every match? No.

Did The Rock main event and win every match? No.

Why? Because seeing the same thing time and time again, gets boring and repetitive and turns the viewer off to the product. The more you change it up, the more you keep people hooked. Seeing this guy main event every match and then win every match is annoying. People love seeing the hero rise, fall and get his vengeance on the villain in the end. If the hero is constantly winning, there's no conflict or threat to him and there's no way he can ever be beaten, what's the point? Even Superman was defeated. Well, sort of. There's a difference between looking dominant and looking invincible.

Then, when you build somebody up and you feed him to Cena, it kills any chance of that person making it. Look at Ryback, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Mark Henry, CM Punk, etc. If you build somebody up just to have him job out Cena, it makes the build look utterly useless if he doesn't win in the end.

And stop saying Cena puts people over. Triple H let Shelton Benjamin beat him. The Rock let THE HURRICANE of all people beat him. When Cena puts over Santino or something, come back to me.

5. His character is stale.

- John Cena has dressed the same, had the same music, same character and said the same nonsense for about 6 years now. There's a time when you have to change it up and keep your character fresh.

Great example? Chris Jericho. Every time he came back, he had a new gimmick to keep his character fresh. He said it himself. He doesn't want his character to get stale so before he comes back, he brainstorms about what he can do to keep himself fresh and not be stale.

Hulk Hogan got a little stale and what happened? He turned heel and became Hollywood Hulk Hogan and formed the nWo, the New World Order.

You need to change up your character. Cena hasn't done it. This is why we same, "Same old sh**" Well, that's why I say it anyway.

If you're over and people love you, don't change a thing. But if people start to boo you because you just suck, it's time to change things up and find a new way to get over.

Cena has said himself he doesn't want to change his character or turn heel just to please 30 year olds. Um....ok?

This is The John Cena I personally miss:

THIS John Cena was a decent in-ring worker on his own, had a cool factor, he took things seriously, didn't make dumb, corny jokes, but would rap and run his opponents down.

This begs the question: WHY is John Cena the Face of the WWE? Is it because he's good on the mic? No. Is it because he's a good wrestler? No, because he's not. Is it because he's entertaining? No, because he's not even close. Well, not anymore anyway.

He's the Face of the WWE, because, for lack of a better term, he's the "safe" pick. I personally think he became the face off of sheer luck, but I'll get into that later. But let me explain why he's the safe pick. Let's take a look at some top guys that worked out, and some that didn't work out:

Bret Hart: Push him as the face, what does he do? Leaves and goes to WCW.

Shawn Michaels: Push him as the face and what happens? He becomes a liability backstage, and had a minor drug problem, from what I heard.

The Rock: I'll let this video explain.

Chris Jericho: Where do I even start? This guy was MEGA over when he first debuted, but a combination of being held down by Triple H and unpredictability in scheduling because of his band Fozzy didn't make things any better.

Booker T: Over with the fans, but was held down by Triple H. Look up their match from WrestleMania 19. The ending of that match alone should explain it all.

Randy Orton: When he became face in 2004, WWE should've pulled the trigger on that and made him the face, but soon after his Legend Killer gimmick, he was getting injured, failing wellness policies and his name is almost always mentioned backstage, sometimes negatively among superstars.

Rob Van Dam: Not a great talker, but a great in-ring worker. He was WWE Champion and ECW Champion AT THE SAME TIME around Summer of 2006, but what does he do? He gets caught by the police with weed in his car and ruins his shot. Next week, he loses both belts in the same week.

Chris Benoit: Do I even need to explain?

Eddie Guerrero: When he was WWE Champion in 2004, he was OVER with the crowd. People loved this guy so much and could've carried WWE into the future, but his death in 2005 halted all of that. It's a shame because he was supposed to win the World Title around the time of his death. RIP Eddie.

Rey Mysterio: I personally don't have an issue with Rey. I personally think WWE botched the booking of his World Title run in 2006, so it's not all his fault. But once they WWE knew Rey was a lost cause, they moved on.

Jeff Hardy: This is a BIG one. Jeff Hardy was arguably more popular than Cena around 2008-2009. The women and kids loved him, dressing like him, putting on his make-up, buying his merchandise and loved his overall laid back, risk taker personality. THIS is the guy that could've taken Cena's spot easy. What happened? Drugs. WWE constantly tried to get him help, but whenever he did, he would just go to his old habits. Sold more merch, was more loved than Cena, but was too much of a liability.

Jeff Hardy is fine now, but how bad was he? Check it out.

CM Punk: Oh yeah. This is one I want to talk about. His pipebomb promo generated so much buzz that radio stations and ESPN were talking about it. Punk was THE MAN. But what does WWE do? They make him the WWE Champion for A WHOLE YEAR, and didn't main event a pay-per-view unless it was with Cena, or if Cena was injured. Punk outsold Cena in merchandise the year he was Champion and was more over than Cena ever was.

When Kurt Angle was WWF Champion, he was main eventing over The Rock and Stone Cold. When The Rock became the face during Stone Cold's injury, even when Austin came back, Rock was still main eventing over Stone Cold. He never took a backseat. You could argue that Rock was even getting bigger pops even when Austin came back.

How do you expect people to take someone seriously if you don't push him as such? I understand once in a while, there's a storyline bigger than the WWE Championship, but it makes no sense how the WWE Champion doesn't close out the show for SIX MONTHS out of his 1 year reign as Champion. Especially at WRESTLEMANIA.

WrestleMania 18: The Rock vs Hulk Hogan was arguably a HUGE match, but did it Main Event WrestleMania? No. Triple H vs Chris Jericho for the Undisputed Championship did.

WrestleMania 19: The Rock vs Stone Cold, HBK vs Y2J, Hogan vs McMahon. ALL were bigger storylines than either WWE Championship or World Title matches that were on the card, but did any of them close the show out? No. The WWE Championship Match did. That speaks VOLUMES about how valuable and prestigious the WWE Championship used to be.

WrestleMania 25: The Undertaker vs HBK had Match of the Night and The Streak was highly regarded then. Did they Main Event? No. Triple H vs Randy Orton for the WWE Championship did.

Once again, WWE dropped the ball on this one. They put him a feud with Triple H which killed his steam, turned him into a corny, cookie-cutter face instead of letting him go out there and be CM Punk and kept putting Cena over him. Once again, you want a new face? PUT HIM IN THE MAIN EVENT and push him as such.

Edge: If it was up to me, Edge would've been THE MAN. The Rated-R Superstar was one of the most over characters in the WWE. Edge could draw, he was a great wrestler, he was absolutely dynamite on the mic and he was just a complete character. He could get it done as face and heel. He held the WWE Championship in January 2006 for 3 weeks and lost it to Cena. He held the belt again in Summer of 2006 for 2 months and lost it to who? Cena. Why he was never the man boggles the mind.

Brock Lesnar: Said it himself that he's just in it for the money. Had he not left after WrestleMania 20, Cena wouldn't have been rushed to the top like he was.

Batista: I saved this guy for last for a reason. These two were pushed to the top at the same time. At WrestleMania 21, Cena won the WWE Championship and Batista won the World Title. Now, this is what happened, around Fall of 2005, Batista got injured and had to relinquish The World Title. Batista was involved in the bigger storylines, was getting bigger pops, was better on the mic, and had a cool factor that John Cena lacked. Cena was slowly turning into the Cena that people grew to hate. Batista pretty much explains it in this promo.

You could argue that during the time of Batista's injury, Vince pushed Cena and by the time Batista healed up and got back it was too late to pick up where he left off. Cena was the man and Batista was just there, fluttering, until he became WWE Champion for a short time in 2010. Some of his best work in my opinion. But then towards the end of his career, Batista became uninterested in the WWE and hated the PG Era direction WWE was headed towards.

There you have it, if not for some lucky breaks, injuries, and mitigating circumstances, Cena would not be the Face of the WWE. Vince keeps him there because he TRUSTS him.

Cena won't get caught with weed in his car, won't get hooked on drugs, he won't put WWE on the news in a negative fashion, and he won't leave and pursue other careers, he's marketable and the kids love him. That's really about it. He's not the face because he's the best. He's the face because he's the most trustworthy, and he'll do what he's told because he's a good little boy. There's a lot of politics involved too. Cena keeps people down halts pushes too.

Remember Alex Riley? Let me share a story with you. Cena was making fun of Riley backstage in front of the whole roster (I believe because of a bad botch he had in a match) and Riley defended himself. What happened? Well, you don't see him on TV anymore, do you? Way to Be-A-Star Cena.

I also laugh when people say Cena would never leave the company to act or do something else. Remember Cena's rap album? It bombed. Remember when Cena tried to do movies? It bombed. When nothing else worked, he remained in the WWE. I GUARANTEE you if Cena proved to be a good actor, he would leave the WWE and pursue a career in acting. You can't tell me otherwise.

Again, you can like who want to like. You like Cena? More power to you. I'm not walking in your house and telling you stop watching Cena, he sucks. I voice my opinions.

I laugh when people say nobody can take Cena's spot. WHAT? Vince doesn't give people a chance. Back in the day, Vince would go with who's hot and it would work. There's something you guys don't understand. Back then, when it was somebody's time, IT WAS THEIR TIME. When it was HBK's time, it was his time. When it was Stone Cold's time, it was his time. The same goes for Rock, Triple H, Angle, Lesnar, Eddie, and you could even go back to Macho Man. Nowadays, when it's somebody's time, Vince either doesn't push him or he feeds him to Cena and begins their de-push. Look at what Punk is doing. Fluttering. Look at Daniel Bryan. You actually think that when Cena comes back, Bryan will still be in that spot? Don't hold your breath. If Vince wanted to, Bryan and Punk would've been those guys long ago and Cena would be the veteran who puts the young guys over. Like what Jericho is doing. But no. Cena continues to be shoved in our face. 8 years on top is long enough!

When Cena leaves, WWE will be screwed. Why? Because they aren't building stars for the future. The whole company revolves around Cena and everybody else is there. Nobody is being groomed to be the man because Vince won't allow it. He put all his chips in with Cena and more people are turned off to it. When Rock, Austin and others were main eventing, you always had a backup plan. You had backup guys like Jericho, Benoit, Angle, etc. who were over and could take that spot in case things didn't work out. Vince use to put effort into building up his midcard, but now? ONE GUY just dominates the entire show and nobody else gets built up.

I can already hear some ignorant people saying, "If you don't like it, don't watch it hater! Cena iz da best! Hustle. Loyalty. Respect. Cena 4Lyfe!" First of all, shut up. Secondly, people throw the term "hater" around too damn much these days. If you don't like what somebody else likes, you're a hater? That makes sense. I guess people can't have differing opinions without being labeled as a hater. If you hate on someone, or something just to hate on it with no reason why, THEN you're a hater. If you explain why, then it's your opinion. Simple common sense. Moving on.

I've been a fan of the WWF/E since I was 7 years old. The first episode of RAW I watched was the Austin/Tyson confrontation. Hooked ever since. I remember how good wrestling USED to be. I still watch because I hope and I pray that WWE can get back to the way they used to be. The rate they're going now, that's a long ways away. WWE can't be edgy without Parents complaining or kids getting offended. It's sad to see what WWE has become.

NFL Week 3 Predictions

For the people that know me, you know how much I love my Football! So, I'm here to give my Week 3 Predictions for the NFL Season.

I got 1 pick right so far with The Chiefs' win last night over The Eagles. Alex Smith was efficient. Like I said, he plays an excellent game manager. Checking the ball down, and making simple plays. Jamaal Charles carried the bulk of the offense and their defense was on Vick all night, and forced 4 turnovers. I'm not surprised the Chiefs won, I'm surprised the score was 23-9 at one point. I do believe Alex Smith has to take more chances especially when you have a guy like Dwayne Bowe on your team. I do believe Chiefs will go on a losing streak soon, but for now, they're  one of the more balanced teams in Football.

Alright, I'll get into the other games. No time to break down Xs and Os, so I'll just give quick summaries, followed by my predictions.

Houston @ Baltimore

Baltimore hasn't looked like defending Super Bowl Champions which shouldn't shock anybody. Getting stomped by Denver and barely beating Cleveland. I think Houston is just a more complete Football team than Baltimore is. I expect Houston to force some turnovers, and grind it out to get the win in Baltimore.

Prediction: Texans defeat Ravens

NYG @ Carolina

I'm very tempted to pick Carolina here because they're due to get a win sooner or later and they're playing at home, but with The Giants, they always bounce back strong. Cam and The Panthers will get theirs, no doubt about it. I fully think The Panthers can win this game. The Giants do get overrated at times because of their success in the Super Bowl. But they're an amazingly inconsistent team, with a mediocre offense and defense. But if I were to choose one of these teams to go 0-3, it'd be Carolina.

Prediction: Giants defeat Panthers

Green Bay @ Cincinnati

The Bengals have a good defense, and a very underrated defensive line. They've actually had one of the best defenses for the last couple seasons. I think The Bengals will stifle and maybe even shut down Green Bay's running game because they know how to close the gaps and give no space to the runner. I believe it'll come down to whether or not the Bengals defense can stop Aaron Rodgers and I don't think they can. Aaron Rodgers is one of, if the not, the best QB right now. Dalton has his weapons and he'll get his points. The Bengals offense can shine when they want to, but even though they're at home, give me Aaron Rodgers and Green Bay.

Prediction: Packers defeat Bengals

St. Louis @ Dallas

I'll admit, I was one of those people saying The Rams were doomed before they even started the season. It is still early, but right now, even though they're 1-1, they've looked pretty good. Bradford finally has some weapons. Some young weapons, but weapons nonetheless. The Rams Front 7 is so good. I saw that defensive line when they played Arizona and when they made that little run in Atlanta. They will be a force this season. But the problem with The Rams is that they're inconsistent. They can't perform like they did in Week 1 all the time, and now they're coming into Dallas against The Cowboys. Dallas has the same inconsistency, but playing them at Home is tough. This is a tough pick. The Rams are no longer that guaranteed win. You gotta grind it out to beat them now. I'm gonna take The Cowboys here, but it'll be a close one.

Prediction: Cowboys defeat Rams

Cleveland @ Minnesota

The Browns have pretty much forfeited the season by sending Trent Richardson to the Colts. I'll take the Vikings in this game. They'll force some turnovers and rattle Mr. Brandon Wheeden. Also, The Vikings have the best running back in Football: Adrian Peterson, and they're at home. Even though I don't believe in Christian Ponder and he looks lost without Percy Harvin, I think Minnesota will get the win.

Prediction: Vikings defeat Browns

Tampa Bay @ New England

Even as bad as New England looked against The Jets last Thursday, I still will take them over Tampa Bay. Josh Freeman looks to be regressing. I think Freeman has some talent, but this season so far is looking like it could be his worst.  He's got a guy he can throw it up to in Vincent Jackson and he's got the best corner in Football on his team in Darrelle Revis. I see their offense struggling to generate points and maintain drives, and I see The Patriots bouncing back and getting the win. The Patriots are gonna struggle with points too. This game is just all sorts of weird, but I'll take New England.

Prediction: Patriots defeat Buccaneers

Arizona @ New Orleans

The Saints are a very quiet 2-0 team. Their offense have struggled so far, but they're due for a breakout game sooner or later, but it won't be against Arizona. Like The Bengals, the Cards have always had a solid defense. Force turnovers, speed off the edge, nice pass rush. The whole 9. I've always said this team is one great QB away from being a playoff team and maybe even going back to the Super Bowl. Carson Palmer could be that guy, but it's too early to tell. If this was in Arizona, I would probably take The Cardinals in this game. I think they're a good team. But with the game in The Superdome, I'm gonna go with The Saints to get the win. It won't be easy, but I got New Orleans. Don't be surprised if The Cardinals get that upset win.

Prediction: Saints defeat Cardinals

San Diego @ Tennessee

UPSET ALERT

The Titans have looked really good this season so far. They shut down Pittsburgh in their own building and came very close to closing out Houston, but let it slip away. I always thought Jake Locker was a stud and he's playing solid football right now and The Titans as a team are flying under the radar with how their defense plays. Gotta watch more film on them, but their defense isn't Top 5, but it's pretty good. The Chargers are up and down for me. They'll look good one week, score 30 points the next, and then cool down. They don't have an All-Star defense, so The Titans will get theirs. Don't look now, but The Titans right now are looking pretty good. I'll take them for the upset.

Prediction: Titans defeat Chargers

Detroit @ Washington

The Redskins have looked abysmal the first two weeks. They got trounced by Philly in Week 1 and they got absolutely demolished by Green Bay although the score didn't dictate that. Green Bay was up 31-0 in the third quarter. RG3 is suffering from not playing in the preseason and his leg looks like it's still bothering him. He doesn't run as much anymore, almost like he's scared to now. I think The Redskins are due in for a win sooner or later, but they way they're playing, it'll hard to tell when they get a win. I wanna say they'll bring it together and pull out a win against Detroit, but I just think The Lions are a better Football team than Washington.

Prediction: Lions defeat Redskins

Atlanta @ Miami

This is gonna be a GOOD game. I'm still shocked that The Dolphins are 2-0. Then again, Week 1 was against Cleveland, and they had a test against The Colts and managed to pull the win out. Atlanta is a whole different beast. Matt Ryan is such a consistent Quarterback and his team is so stacked. They're gonna get their points because Miami's defense isn't really stellar. I wouldn't be surprised if this game is a shootout. Tannehill has some solid weapons on offense to stretch the field. Playing in Miami, I'm very tempted to pick the Dolphins, but I don't know if they can perform this well against a team like The Falcons. Their defense is good. So far, not as good as last season, but still pretty good. I'm excited to see this game and will definitely be watching. This a tough one. On the flip of a coin, I'm taking the Falcons.

Predictions: Falcons defeat Dolphins

Buffalo @ NYJ

Buffalo almost beat New England in Week 1 and E.J. Manuel had a good win against Panthers last week on a last second TD toss. This Bills/Jets game doesn't necessarily interest me. I think Geno looked good against New England. If their offense was better and could actually generate some points and extend drives, they would've beaten New England. But it's early, and I guess they can get better, but it's gonna take time. The Bills and E.J. look good and if the game was in Buffalo, I'd take them in a heartbeat, but only cause Jets have homefield advantage, I'll take them to beat Buffalo.

Prediction: Jets defeat Bills

JAX @ Seattle

The Jacksonville Jaguars vs The Seattle Seahawks. The Seahawks are a physically dominating team at Home on both sides of the ball. The Jaguars haven't been good since they got rid of David Garrard. They're the worst team in the league scoring a grand total of 11 points in 2 games. The Seahawks are gonna destroy them. I would actually LAUGH OUT LOUD if Jacksonville shuts everybody up and pulls an upset. But it's not happening. Seattle wins handily.

Prediction: Seahawks defeat Jaguars

Indianapolis @ San Francisco

The Colts fan in me wants to pick them to win this game, even with the addition of Trent Richardson. But I just don't see it happening. If it was in Indy, it'd be a different story cause they play with a different sort of drive and energy at Home. But in San Francisco, just coming off a beatdown from Seattle, I don't think Indy can win it. I have no faith in their defense and their offensive line is garbage. I don't know if Trent Richardson can find some holes to run through or even create his own runs. And with how good San Fran's defensive line is, Luck is gonna need some time, or else he won't get that ball out fast enough and get sacked a number of times. The Niners offense have so many weapons, and I don't think The Colts can stop them.

Prediction: Niners defeat Colts

Chicago @ Pittsburgh

Pittsburgh clearly has not been playing like themselves all season. Ben's lost his center, Mike Pouncey...AGAIN and they just struggle to put up points on offense. 9 points against Tennessee and just 10 points against The Bengals. They aren't an offensive juggernaut, but they're better than this. Ben looks lost without some of his weapons. Pittsburgh isn't just playing good Football. Ben can still extend plays and buy himself some time, but right now things aren't looking too good. The Bears are coming to town 2-0 and on Sunday Night Football, Pittsburgh is gonna come out strong, play tough and get to the QB. The Bears aren't a scrub team either. They've become more of an offensive minded team. Jay Cutler really shines in this offense and makes some great plays when he was to. But their defense can still force turnovers and get to the QB. I hate to do this to The Steelers, but I'm taking The Bears going 3-0 and Pittsburgh dropping to 0-3.

Prediction: Bears defeat Steelers

Oakland @ Denver

The Denver Broncos are looking like the best team in Football right now. Two back-to-back blowout wins and Peyton Manning has 9 TD's and 0 INT's. This offense is clicking on all cylinders and they can't be stopped. Peyton Manning is playing like the best QB in Football right now, he's got weapons left and right, they've got a 3-headed Monster in the backfield. Their defense on the other hand is a little inconsistent, they can force turnovers and have a lethal secondary, but they have problems getting to the QB. Maybe when Von Miller gets back, their pass rush will improve, but right now, the strength of their defense is the secondary in my opinion. I could see them getting sacks in this game cause Oakland's offensive line isn't exactly the greatest in Football. Pryor can extend some plays with his running, but I'm sure Denver will be ready to shut that noise down. Denver at Home on Monday Night Football with Peyton Manning and that dangerous Broncos Team = Win.

Prediction: Broncos defeat Raiders

There are my picks for Week 2 of the NFL Season! Enjoy the games!

Refunds for WWE Night of Champions?

Ok, real quick, I wanna talk about this. This is one of the dumbest things I think ever seen. Apparently, Cable companies are offering refunds to their customers over how Night of Champions ended and just how bad the overall pay-per-view actually was.

I'm about to go on rant mode, so bear with me.

WWE has been on a bad ppv stretch for quite some time, but that's cause the product today is trash. But there have been LOADS of pay-per-views worse than this. Even dating back to other eras, I'm sure pay-per-views didn't end the way the paying fans had wanted, but even then they never asked for refunds just because they didn't like how the show ended.

I'll give you an example. Iron Man 3. I won't give it away, but there's a certain twist in that movie that pissed A LOT of fans off, but not once did I see people asking for refunds or some other nonsense. And shame on the Cable companies for being so weak and giving in to these ignorant people. I don't believe they'd even be so childish to ask for them because they were unsatisfied. How many times do people ask for ticket refunds for a movie cause it was awful, or the hero died at the end or something? I guarantee you won't find many.

Like I said there've been pay-per-views worse than this. Shows like: WWE Payback, WWE Extreme Rules, remember ECW December to Dismember in 2007? How about Over The Limit 2011 & 2012, how about that GOD AWFUL WrestleMania 27? How about any pay-per-view that John Cena has main evented and won? Oh yeah, people are upset, but I don't think they'd would go the length and ask for a refund. We could even discuss Night of Champions from last year too where the finish was so sloppy, messy, and poorly executed.

There've been pay-per-views where people haven't liked how the show ended. How about the people that were bitching and moaning when The Rock beat CM Punk for the WWE Title? They were pissed, but they didn't ask for any refunds. There were people upset when Triple H beat The Rock at WrestleMania 2000. No refunds. How about Survivor Series 1999 when Stone Cold was taken out of the Triple Threat main even for the WWF Championship? Any refunds? Nope.

In my opinion, this is absolutely ridiculous. Today's society never ceases to amaze me. After all the nonsense WWE has done the past year, NOW people ask for a refund? Get outta here. And then to complain because the title was then stripped from Bryan the night after. Do you people have ANY IDEA how many times that's been done?

I swear, this kind of thing makes me angry. It makes no sense and it makes the customers look so childish and stupid.

My two cents. I apologize for the ranting and judgment. I honestly hope none of you are that stupid.

Andy Reid vs The Eagles

How ironic is it that Andy Reid's first year as Chiefs head coach has The Eagles on the schedule and this early as well?

Andy Reid. The man that led The Eagles to 6 NFC Titles and 1 Super Bowl appearance was replaced by former Oregon HC Chip Kelly. And now, in Week 3 of the NFL Season, Andy Reid goes back to Philadelphia. I expect him to get a nice reaction when he goes back.

Some people are surprised to see The Chiefs start the season 2-0. I'm not surprised. First of all, Andy Reid is a hell of a Football Coach and regardless of what people say, Alex Smith is no scrub. He's been doing well in this offense. Then again, he's not asked to do alot. Pretty much the same thing in San Francisco: the game manager that goes out there and tries not to lose the game. Smith throws those quick slants, some bootleg plays, on occasion, he'll make some good passes in tight windows. They're a balanced offense in every sense of the word. They won't WOW you with the stats, but they're efficient. The Chiefs were always one of those teams that were a QB away from being a playoff team. Andy Reid knows he's got a stud on Alex Smith. I personally believe The Chiefs will make the playoffs. I have them at a #6 seed right now just edging out The Bengals.

The Eagles offense is fun to watch. They're a fast, quick strike offense, score a lot, and stretch the field. The problem with these kinds of teams is that they play no defense. The Chargers proved that point last Sunday by dropping 33 on them at Home. The Chargers were also guilty of being one of these teams for quite some time.

I'm not saying The Chiefs are gonna go into Philly and drop 33, but I expect them to get theirs. The Eagles defense won't allow a team to drop 30 points on them 2 weeks in a row. Then again, I wouldn't be too surprised if The Chiefs did it to them. We saw flashes of brilliance in The Eagles in Week 1, but we saw a pivotal flaw of their team in Week 2. All offense, no defense. It will come back to bite them.

As far as my prediction goes, it's tough. The Eagles are gonna bounce back strong and give The Chiefs a tough time, but I have a feeling The Eagles are also gonna struggle to score points. I don't see another offensive display like last Sunday. I think we're gonna see a nice defensive struggle and it'll come down to which team can make that one play to put their team over, and which team can make the right adjustments to win the game.

As much as I believe The Eagles are gonna bounce back, I got The Chiefs going 3-0. Chiefs are gonna be one of those teams that start hot and fizzle out towards the end of the season, but still be consistently good.

Chiefs 27, Eagles 20.

Thoughts on the Daniel Bryan/Randy Orton Storyline

WE'RE BACK!!!

After a rather long hiatus, The Sports Monarchy Dynamic Duo is back looking to expand our horizons and achieve greater heights. We're back to talk NFL, NBA, WWE, TNA, and once in a while we'll go off topic and discuss movies and music.

For the first topic back, I want to talk about something that's been irritating me: Namely, this Daniel Bryan/Randy Orton storyline. When Triple H screwed Daniel Bryan out of the WWE Championship at Summerslam and sided with Randy Orton, the Attitude Era fan in me was excited to see a Corporation 2.0 and how they would do it. But they messed it up. ROYALLY. Shocker. Last night was the first time that I was interested to see where this angle goes next.

The night after Summerslam, Orton should've come out in a Suit and Tie and cut a nice, lengthy promo on why he did what he did. Instead, Triple H talked for 10 minutes and Orton had something along the lines of 2 sentences.

And that brings me to my main problem with this storyline: Triple H. I was a big Triple H fan in the Attitude Era, but him taking center stage in a feud that is supposed to be about Randy Orton and Daniel Bryan is beginning to get on my nerves. Randy Orton is the Corporate sellout. He should be coming out cutting promos in a suit and tie telling the people what he thinks about them and how he is everything Daniel Bryan isn't. But Triple H is doing the bulk of the talking and Orton is getting no chance to garner heat on his own. The feud is now Daniel Bryan vs Triple H and Orton is just in the background. Orton's not even the WWE Champion anymore!

In 1998, when they ran this Corporation Angle with The Rock. Yes, the premise was Mr. McMahon getting the belt of Stone Cold and onto somebody who he felt was "worthy" of wearing it, namely The Rock. But Mr. McMahon never did ALL the talking for The Rock. The Rock was able to cut promos and gain heat on his own. Not one time did The Rock become an afterthought in an angle that was about him selling out to become the WWF Champion. Randy Orton became an afterthought long ago.

Also, RAW didn't end 4 weeks straight with Austin getting his ass handed to him by The Corporation.

The build to their match at Night of Champions was horrible. Instead of building a proper story and balancing out Bryan and Orton getting the upper hand on each other, it was Bryan getting laid out EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Your challenger is supposed to look strong to feel like he has a shot against the dominant Champion. But instead, he looked weak heading into this match. Still over, still sympathetic, but weak.

I personally believe it was too early for Bryan to win the WWE Championship anyway. Having the fast count ref as a fail safe in case Orton lost was cool, but executed a little poorly. Orton should've beat Bryan one-on-one in classic heel fashion. Striking him with the belt, or low blow followed by RKO. Orton retains in heel fashion, but Bryan doesn't lose any steam.

But no, Bryan had to get stripped of the title. Bryan is a two time WWE Champion and he hasn't even held the belt for a full day. The booking of the WWE Championship is absolutely horrid. But last night was a glimmer of hope that they're gonna put this angle on the right track.

Since the WWE Championship is vacated, this is what I would personally do:

Triple H comes out announces there will be a Deadly Game Tournament at Survivor Series to crown a new WWE Champion. For those unfamiliar, The Deadly Game Tournament was used in 1998 and was a 1 night tournament to crown a new Champion because the title was vacated around that time as well.

ALL are able to compete except for Daniel Bryan. Triple H then strikes Bryan a deal. It'll be Daniel Bryan vs Triple H at the October ppv. If Bryan wins, he's in the tournament. He loses, Bryan never gets a shot at the title again. Bryan beats Triple H, gets in the tournament, faces Randy Orton in the Tournament Finals and beats him to FINALLY win the WWE Championship.

The angle literally writes itself. But somehow, WWE will find a way to mess this up. Hopefully, they get things right sooner or later.

This poor excuse of this new Corporation, McMahon-Helmsley Era rehash, or whatever it is they're doing is losing steam. It had initial appeal, but repetition and having ONE guy taking the bulk of the storyline and making the anti-authority character look WEAK is dragging it down.

They need to pick it up and make this thing interesting.

My two cents.
