Can New York Giants Repeat?

The New York Giants won Super Bowl XLVI by defeating The New England Patriots.....again. But can The New York Giants strike lighting twice and repeat? The last time The Giants won the SuperBowl was in 2007 and the following season, they got themselves a #1 seed and first round exit via The Philadelphia Eagles.

The Giants are said to have the toughest schedule coming this season. Let's take a look at just who they'll be facing:

Home: Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Cleveland Browns, Pittsburgh Steelers

Away: Dallas Cowboys, Washington Redskins, Philadelphia Eagles, San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Carolina Panthers, Baltimore Ravens, Cincinnati Bengals

There are a lot of people that say The Giants had a fluky run to the Super Bowl, myself included. The Niners special teams mistakes, blown calls in that game against San Fran, and a dropped catch by Welker in the Super Bowl that could've won the Super Bowl for New England. But nonetheless, The Giants are the Super Bowl Champions, like it are not, but can they repeat?

Looking at their schedule, it's hard to tell. But right now, I'll say no. There are definitely some winnable games in there, but the Washington Redskins swept them last season, the Eagles finished strong, The Niners will be a lot better this season, and of course we know how good The Packers, Ravens, Falcons, Saints, and Steelers are.

But The Giants are the defending Super Bowl Champions for a reason and they're gonna need a lot more than luck to get out of this schedule with a decent record. By looking at this on paper, the Champs are looking like a 9-7 team and barely making the playoffs. But then again, this is why you play the games.
